College of Charleston Mail Services coordinates efforts with the United States Postal Service, located on East Bay Street. We provide mail services for the students, faculty, and staff of the College of Charleston.

Student Mailboxes:
Students Moving Off-Campus for Fall 2009: Any student moving off campus will need to return their key and Check Out of their mailbox during Open Period for Returns: 04/27/09- 05/08/09 at the Office of Mail Services. Student Mail Boxes are only provided for on- campus housing. Fill out the Checking Out form and return your key to the Office of Mail Services.
Returning your key: Please remember that keys are only to be returned to the Office of Mail Services during business hours, and not with your housing key. Housing will not assume any responsibility for lost or misplaced keys.
Renew Your Mailbox Number for Fall 2009
Students will be able to maintain their current mailbox number for the duration of your on campus residency, as long as they complete the renewal form this year. If you do not return the Renewal form by 05/08/09, your mailbox will be assigned to another student and you'll have to go through the process of obtaining another mailbox number.

Students Taking Summer Classes
If you would like to receive mail on campus during the summer months you will need to renew your student mailbox for the summer. Renew your Student Mailbox during Open Period for Renewals: 04/20/09- 05/08/09 at the Office of Mail Services. Check off the appropriate time period, Summer I or Summer II
Summer Mail Forwarding
No mail will be forwarded before May 9, 2008! The Office of Mail Services provides students the convenience of mail forwarding during the summer months if you have completed the renewal process for next year. For faster mail receipt, it is encouraged for all students to update all correspondences of any address change even if it is only for the summer.
If you choose to have your magazines and bulk mail forwarded during the summer months by Mail Services, please provide Mail Services with prepaid envelopes, otherwise they will be disposed.
